oh and yes, since i've been off the fast, all the pastries have been magically "disappearing" .. hmm i wonder who ate them? haha, anyways, if you ever go to starbucks here are some of the BEST pastries that i would recommend:
- chocolate cream cheese muffin
- marble coffeecake
- bluberry coffeecake
- cinnamon swirl coffecake
- classic coffeecake (... i like. coffeecake :D )
- chocolate croissant
- maple oat scone
- blueberry muffin
and i never knew this until i worked there, but a lot of the stores have "for here" plates and mugs that you can use at the store! it's really nice, you can have your pastry on a plate, then a cute round mug for your coffee. the others are pretty good, but these i DO recommend. they are SO good!! or maybe, i'm just a pastry addict. : O! and here is the BEST coffee and pastry together: extra bold Sumatra and a maple oat scone. oh my GOODNESS, it is SO good. you take a sip of the coffee which is really dark/ heavy, then take a bite of the maple oat scone and the sweetness just lightens all the flavor in your mouth. SO good.
ps: i LOVE working at starbucks :D
